Each decoy has been signed, dated, numbered, and has a felted bottom to protect your furniture. Because I rarely carve more than a dozen decoys per year, most birds on the site are numbered between 1 and 4, in a particular year, for a species. Duplicates (#2 thru #4) also have slightly different "paint jobs" than each other so as to keep them unique. It is my hope that their craftsmanship, scarcity, low numbering and uniqueness are of interest to all collectors. Depending upon the head position and bird species, all of my wooden ducks and loons measure between 11 to 17 1/2 inches. These numbers are measured from the tip of the bill to the end of the tail. Basswood blocks are used in the carving of each bird. Decoys which are shown may be available for immediate delivery. If desired, keels can be attached at no additional charge.
